My University Life Inside and Out

Technical University of Mombasa, i remember at first when i saw i had been placed there i wasnt quite happy because having grown up in Nairobi i had always wanted to go to a university in Nairobi too. But then i remember my dad advising me to give Mombasa a try and we reported in january 2021 after some few months of learning via online classes.

Adapting here was quite hard for me the temparature, the hot sun and the water but with time i adapted. I still remember i was anxious because coming to Mombasa i had no friend i knew because all my friends had been called to Universities in Nairobi and that meant i had to make new friends while around here to help me with the adapting of campus life.

With time my love for Mombasa, for the University and everything here grew rapidly thanks to all the friends i made and moments and bond we created from then. 

About University, i was mostly at the premises i have hardly missed any classes but true to what many may say the 7am classes were a real challenge but nevertheless we passed that all throughout the years we have been at the University.

 Having been someone who loved making his own money right before i joined the University, i have done many business deals but most successful one is my sneaker business and i would really want to thank my university friends moreso my classmates for being my top customers. Earning while in campus is real with friends who promote your business

My classes throughout the years i have been here have been quite good bearing in mind i had a real passion in media and communication studies and i can say i have really acquired the skills and knowledge from our lecturers and yes it has been a good experience.

One of the most fascinating thing i have loved all through my stay here since 2020 is touring Mombasa and its fascinating places; Diani, Mtwapa, Nyali, Likoni as well being conversant with Mombasa Town. Surely coast is beautiful place.

 I have made bonds with people while in University bonds that i hope i will continue to keep, i have had real friends who have really come through for me when in need and its basically why university is that way for people to mingle and create bonds.

Life while at University has taught me lifetime lessons am glad for everyone who was in this university journey with me and as we finalize the final semester i come out of Technical University Of Mombasa as a person who is way better than i was when enrolling. Having loved the stay here its evident i will be a frequent visitor and will continue to keep the rapport with the Technical University Of Mombasa.
